What does diversity really mean?

Well joining Wharton I had pretty much expected the class to be a diverse mix. So yes as expected there are 40% international and more than 60 countries represented. However, what I find much more interesting is the diversity of international work experience. Surprisingly, it is much more than what these numbers tell.

How? Here is how...

In this batch there is a Chinese person who has worked for 6 years in Japan, a Japanese person who has worked in India for past 4 years, many Indians who have worked in US for years and a couple of Americans who have been employed in Mainland China for past 3-4 years. So there, that is a complete circle that I think accurately represents what diversity really means.
